The only thing about this palette is that there aren't any names to the shades, but that doesn't really bother me since I never really pay attention to the names of the eyeshadows. Whenever I'm applying makeup I know which shade I usually use and stick with that. The packaging is cute with the gold but it's made with a cardboard packaging which is similar to some of other palettes they have. I do care about a palettes packaging because I think about whether or not it'll be good to bring around for traveling (I don't even travel that much lol). There's a mirror in this packaging which is amazing because a lot of tiny palettes I own don't always have mirrors which can be annoying.
(Swatches start from left to right on top row and then left to right on bottom row)
I found that these were similar to the other Lorac shadows that I've swatched before but I really don't have a problem with these. They're highly pigmented and the shades are all very wearable. I didn't find them as chalky which made me love this palette even more, I mean who wants chalky eye shadows? This palette is exclusive to Ulta so I would definitely go and buy this if I were you. I'm not sure if it's limited edition or not but for $15 it's a great deal. It'll always be a great christmas present to another makeup lover or to someone who is learning to use makeup.
Have you tried any of Lorac's eyeshadows before?
