Lately haven't been priming my face as much as usual because my skin gets weird in the winter and sometimes it makes my foundation apply not as smoothly. I'll start off with my Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place foundation and I like applying this foundation with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge since this is a pretty heavy foundation. Afterwards I'll use my Make Up For Ever Full Coverage Concealer for under my eyes and set everything with translucent powder.
I always like to do my eye makeup before I finish the rest of my face because I feel like it's easier that way. The Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette has been a favorite of mine ever since I got it and I feel like it has the perfect shades to create a Christmas makeup look. First I'll apply 'Half Baked' onto my eye lids and I'll apply 'Tease' into my crease. 'Suspect' will go to outer corner and I'll use 'Busted' on my upper lash line. To complete the look I'll use 'Bootycall' for my inner corner and brow bone.When my eye makeup is complete I go straight to the bronzing my face. The Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer is a favorite of mine and goes great with any look. So this blush is fairly new but I'm so in love with it, I've been using it a lot recently. It's the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure, this really puts a look together. It's very natural looking and doesn't clash with the eye makeup. When all that is done I like to apply my Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in Starlight, it's the newest highlighter I own and I love it!
I cannot complete my makeup look without filling in my eyebrows so obviously I have to use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Ebony. To finish off the eyes I use my Dior Diorshow Mascara and it makes my lashes look very voluminous. The star of this makeup look is the red lip! I'm loving the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella, it's a great red shade.
