This is the Boscia White Charcoal Mattifying Makeup Setting Spray and it retails for $38. The description is that it is a "fine mist that minimizes pores, gently mattifies, and sets makeup while keeping skin hydrated." I agree with this description so much because it's true. Most setting sprays that I've tried in the past has actually dried out my skin and I have oily skin! I'll apply all my makeup and afterwards I'll spritz this onto my face. You can use this before your apply your makeup as some sort of primer but I haven't done that yet. Once you spray this onto your face it doesn't take too long to dry, but the only complaint I have is that sometimes when I spray this too close to my face it'll leave white dots which I assumed is the product dried up. But when I use it about 6 inches from my face it'll be perfectly normal.
Do I recommended this for people with dry skin as well? Yes! I did my sisters makeup for an event recently and her skin type is drier than mine. She said it made her makeup feel less cakey and even before she left she went back to use more of this spray. My skin this winter has also been going a little crazy on me, some days it's extremely oily and some days I'm left feeling super dry but this works well each time I use it no matter how my skin is feeling. I've been using this every day, I think of it as another step for my skin care routine.
Do you use makeup setting sprays?
