May Favorites!

June 3, 2016

I'm so happy that it's finally June because that means the weather is getting much warmer. I felt like the cold lasted for so long. But with the weather getting warmer, it also means that my makeup is changing. During the month of may I've discovered and rediscovered a lot of new products.

  • Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser: This is my favorite cleanser at the moment, I didn't do much research about this cleanser when I bought it but as soon as I started using it I knew that it was going to be a good one. I've been using this for over a month now and it's been great for my skin. It isn't foamy at all and it doesn't dry out my skin after using it.
  • Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado: I'm obsessed with this eye cream! This is actually my second one and I even bought the bigger size this time around. The only thing that concerns me about this is that it contains propylene glycol, but it hasn't irritated my eyes. I usually have dry eyelids, and this eye cream has been really helping with that.

  • It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+: I've been wanting to get a CC cream for a while now, and I saw that this had SPF 50 so that got me really excited. Whenever I use something with SPF I noticed that I'll get breakouts or that I'll become really oily through out the day. This does make me a little oily but it's not a huge deal especially if it gives me good SPF coverage.
  • Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer: Lately I've been getting some more breakouts and some of my other concealers didn't seem to be covering them much. But with this one, I think it's also great to wear on my no makeup makeup days. I'll only put these over break outs and I would be good to go.
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade: I have really oily skin and I noticed that when I use this on my brows it keeps them in place. It makes them last all day and I love that, I mean who wouldn't want long lasting brows?
  • MAC Lip Pencil in Oak: I've been obsessed with wearing this lip liner everyday. I would line my lips and then put it all over before topping it off with a clear gloss. It's a great everyday shade. The swatch definitely looks much darker than it is on my lips, but it really is a perfect color.
