I followed all the instructions (at least I think) and I still struggled a lot with this nose strip. In the beginning I was having a hard time having all of the strip stick to my nose but that could've been due to the fact that I wasn't sticking it on my nose correctly. So I left this strip on for about 12 minutes and when it was time to peel it off I almost cried. It was so sticky! All of this could've been due to the fact that I didn't wet my nose enough before putting on this product. I felt like it was stuck to my nose and I was too scared to pull it off. But then again, the whole point of this product is to take out the blackheads so that might've been the reason for this product's strong grip onto my skin. After taking it off I found that it didn't really make a huge difference. I could see some stuff (ew) on the strip but it wasn't like WOW.

Would I repurchase this? Maybe, because it did do a little for my nose compared to other products, but at the same time I don't think nose strips of any sort are good for your skin. This was only $1 so it isn't that bad, you can find a pack of 7 on Urban Outfitters for $6 if you really want to try it out, or you can find it at The Face Shop store. Blackheads could be a pain, literally. But I might find more alternatives to removing them before using another nose strip.Have you ever tried a nose strip product?
Great review, have you tried the product again and wet the strip first? If so, how did it turn out? I've found pore strips are either a hit or miss for me due to my oily skin but I added this one to my wishlist because you mentioned how sticky it is. Hopefully it'll be a future hit!

I haven't tried that yet but I still have one more of this strip so I'll try wetting my nose more before applying the product and let you know. This is the first nose strip I ever tried, but I probably will try and find some more as well.
DeleteHmm I've not tried the Face Shop one in such a long time so I don't remember exactly how I felt about it. These days I've been using the Innisfree one and I make sure that it's completely wet and wait till it's completely dry before I take it off. When it completely dries out it comes off nice and easy ;)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try that out next!
DeleteI used to use nose strips a lot, but I stopped bothering a few years ago! I had the same kind of feelings as you - they were horrible to get off, and I was never really sure how much difference they actually made. This one's a great price though, so I'll bear it in mind if I ever decide to use one again!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've nominated you in the Versatile Blogger Award tag :) x

Exactly, sometimes I'm not sure if they're making things better or worse for me. Thank you so much!
DeleteI would actually quite like to try this, I've never used a nose strip before and would really like to. Great review too.

This was my first nose strip too, maybe you'll like it.
DeleteI don't like using nose strips, AHA soaked pads seem to work a lot better for me.

Thirteen Thoughts
I've been wanting to try products with AHA, maybe I'll have to give those a try.
DeleteI do like THEFACESHOP products in general but there's are definitely some misses. For example, I absolutely HATE their aloe cream cleanser that did nothing for me. I have never tried anything for blackhead removals because I'm lucky not to have them but maybe try Biore? I think they have a good nose strip for it?

I agree with you, there certainly are good and bad products from them. You're lucky for sure, I'll definitely have to give the Biore ones a try next.
DeleteThank you.
