Fall Makeup Essentials

December 3, 2017

So I may be really late on uploading this, but I'm still very into the fall makeup look. I had all of these products on my desk, and they have been a part of my everyday routine. I didn't include all the other necessities such as brow, mascara or setting power products just because it's the same for me year round. But the products that I am mentioning, I feel like they are definitely more suitable for fall and since I've been incorporating them into my daily makeup look, I decided that I need to share these products with you all.

(Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette)
I'm pretty sure there isn't anybody who hasn't heard of the Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette, I remember how much attention it got during the launch. I loved the colors, and was unsure of how it would look on me, but I wear this almost every single day now and constantly get compliments on my makeup. You can definitely create a more natural day time look, or a more smoky night time look. It's a very versatile palette, and you need this in your collection if you don't already have it.

(Left to right: Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation & Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel)
Matte foundations are a must in the fall, everything is all about that matte look. But I've been tired of the matte foundation look as I feel like it really ages my skin. Since I have oily skin, most foundations end up looking cakey on me by the end of the day which is truly annoying. My newest and favorite foundation currently is the Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation, and I've been mixing it with the Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel in Dew You? which is a really nice combination. The Marc Jacobs dew drops doesn't make me look glittery or shimmery, but it just gives a really nice glow to my skin even when mixed in with the foundation.
(Clockwise: Dose of Colors Desi x Katy - Fuego, Sephora Birthday Gift Tarte Set - Birthday, The Estee Edit The Barest Bronzer - Light/Medium)
Anyone who knows me, will know that I'm really into the heavy bronzer look. I mean, I feel like it looks good on me so that's why I like wearing it that way. But the Estee Edit The Barest Bronzer in Light/Medium is such a good bronzer, it blends effortlessly and I love the color of it. One of my new favorite highlighters are Dose of Colors Desi x Katy Fuego, it looks so natural on the skin and really is blinding. I always get compliments on my highlighter, and when I do, then I know that it's a really good highlight. The blush is from the Sephora Birthday Gift Tarte Set, it's in the shade 'Birthday' and I love how natural this color is. It goes with a heavy makeup look, or a very natural one.
(Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick - Bow n Arrow)
Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow N Arrow is such a pretty shade for the fall, and I always reach for this in the fall/winter. It also goes well with the Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow palette too which is a plus in my book. I like that formula isn't too drying on my lips, and it doesn't wipe off after having lunch.
