February 2019 Favorites

I've been a little better at controlling myself when it comes to buying beauty products. My makeup drawers are getting extremely cluttered and that really made me reconsider buying anymore. So the month of February I have been trying to just use what I already have.

 (Kylie Cosmetics Toasty Bronzer)

I really love Kylie Cosmetics' products. I've never had an issue with any of the formulations. This bronzer works really well with my skin tone and it's extremely easy to blend. I'm quite heavy handed with my bronzer (love that bronzed look) but I find that this formula makes it easy to layer so you can never really go overboard.

(NARS Singapore Eyeshadow Quad and Pro Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base)

I recently picked up the NARS primer at a sample sale and I really like it. My eyelids do get oily and I find that if I don't prime my eyes my eyeshadow tends to crease. Between this and my Smashbox eyeshadow primer, can't live without either. Every time I use the NARS Singapore eyeshadow quad I get many compliments and questions about it. It blends so effortlessly and it's great to wear day or night. The shades are pigmented and not patchy at all. I find that a lot of shimmery shades can be not as pigmented as you'd like it to be, but the pigment on the shimmery shades in this palette....I give it all an A++++

(Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara)

My mascara would always smudge under my eyes, and it's been a learning process when it comes to picking the right one. Some mascaras work for my lashes but not the bottom lashes. If I look in the mirror after a few hours and see that there's a lot of smudging, I know that the mascara just won't work for me. When I picked this up I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was no smudging after looking in the mirror after a long day of work.

(MILK Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel)

I've used the Glossier Boy Brow for many years now and it worked really well for my brows. But after I made the switch to the Kush Brow Gel, I noticed a huge difference. It was definitely more pigmented, lasted a lot longer, and it made my brows look like brows. I've repurchased this at least 3 times now and I'm not planning to look elsewhere.
